Man dead after being ejected from vehicle in Bristol crash

A man has died after crashing into a utility pole and ejecting from his vehicle in Bristol, police said.

Bristol police responded to a report of a one car crash in the area of Battle Street and James P. Casey Road around 9:30 p.m. on Friday.

Upon arrival, officers said they located an unresponsive man who had been ejected from his vehicle. After performing life-saving measures, the man was transported to Bristol Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The crash remains under investigation, police said.
